| Description: | That goat was probably an offspring of the old Billy Goat that we owned. Believe it or not there was no Billy Goat in Safe Harbour for a number of years. Uncle Caleb used to come over in his boat and borrow our goat for a week or two. I am sure the Billy did his job well. Unfortunately the goat came to an untimely end. A bunch of young men were going to cook up a "scoff" in the schooner "J.S.Munn" one fall after the schooners were tied up for the winter. Our Billy ended up in the pot.
